Fan Bracket Assembly

So I got a new bracket assembly today because the bearing was going out and I was getting a sequel and also I could see the play in it as it would turn. Now I'm looking at the new one and the actually pulley looks wrapped? Any one heard of this. I'm thinking about filing it down a bit and seeing if it will clean because I do not want to hear it rubbing. I have never heard of a metal pulley warping.

Well after further inspection the part was defective. Someone bought it and pull the bearing out and put there old one back in the new housing and returned it. They are now putting one on a rush order for me. I was thinking the pulley was bad also but it was the old part they stuffed into it. Ugh, people I swear.
