It wasn't the fender he cut to get the "Satoshi" to fit, it was the bumper cover... i believe he also did a retrofit to the 2006 headlights, and was awaiting the arrival of a steel front bumper.... the cutting is necessary to get the grill down in place, and get it where he could get the hood to close and latch.

Finally got around to installing some new Upper Control Arms (UCA's). I originally planned to get the Camburg arms that use factory ball joints, but ended up deciding on the Light Racing for price and adjustability. Here are the before and afters. I would say this is a beginner install. It only took about 45 minutes to do both sides after buying a cheap ball joint separator.

Spent some time recently with lots of small things on my to-do list...

Plastidipped the rear bumper sections that weren't black as well as a cargo board I cut and installed t-nuts into a grid pattern for securing anything I need.



Touched up my sliders and added a thin strip of grip tape for better traction.



Added grip tape to the Gobi ladder as well for climbing onto the new roof rack.



Got tired of a rusty exhaust tip so I painted it with engine paint until I get a new muffler.



Installed new LED lights all around.



Plastidipped my satoshi grill and resecured the emblem properly.



Prepped for the roof rack to go on this week by siliconing the lift blocks in place and buying upgraded stainless allen bolts.



Finally, it occurred to me that it will be very difficult to clean or do anything to my roof in the future after adding the full length rack this week so I plastidipped the whole roof for protection!



One last shot before the roof rack and bumper go on this week!

Your rig's really looking great! It's gonna really look BA with the rack and bumper!

I like the plastidipping the roof thing, may have to do that with mine but white.

I pulled my rack a few months ago and cleaned it very well but it was looking sad... And pulling the rack for cleaning isn't especially easy.

The bumper is on, but they sent the wrong brackets. Ill post more details later when I'm not on my iPhone. Enjoy the pics. The combo hidden receiver and winch is awesome.

Good looking rig there, the add ons definitely makes the difference.

So, you had them put a hidden receiver in the bumper. Nice touch, now you can put thing in the front of your bumper to protect it I see. HAHA.

Yeah, as much money as I'm spending on this thing I figured a little more to get everything I want is worth it in the long run. I couldn't find any bumper with a winch and receiver so I had it done custom. The other plus side is they had to remove their stupid logo cutout to put it there! Double win!

I think they have stopped putting there log on them due to extra cost. Mine doesn't have it either. Others have made comments/asked about it.

We stopped cutting the logo back in early 2010 when we switched from having our plate cut elsewhere with a laser table to cutting it our selves in house with our new plasma table.

Plasma tables don't have the accuracy of laser tables when it comes to small detailed cuts like the ones on our logo, so rather than having a choppy looking logo, we opted not to have one at all.

bumper looks nice. i like the bike and bike rack but dont think i would want to drive with it on the front. if anything i would take off the seat post.

this bumper setup is the only way i would get one. really makes it worth it.

I mounted up a new ARB 2500 Awning to the rack for a trip this weekend. I used some angle brackets from Home Depot, cut the awning side down and plastidipped them real quick to prevent scratching from friction. The large holes were actually spaced perfect for the awning bolts and lines up with the mesh on the roof as well.

I bought these lobe knobs a while back with something like this in mind and they work great. The goal was to be able to minimize the tools I needed to mount things on the roof. They are a security feature that prevents them from being removed without a key. The only problem is that the stock holes on the brackets are too close together so I couldn't use two side by side... Hence the temporary wing nuts. I'll drill new holes later when I further refine this setup.

Installed my new Parrot Asteroid Smart and AudioVox backup camera today. I went the extra mile and installed the camer in the under side of the spoiler to make sure it didn't get blocked in the future when I add a spare tire carrier... I had to totally remove the rear spoiler to run the wires. Hopefully the pictures are clear as to what what was done. Let me know if you have questions!

I still have to put my ladder back on, but want to plasti-dip the spoiler first!

Wow that parrot asteroid looks pretty cool. That's the first I've seen it. Does it have a built in amp and everything? Is it powered entirely by your phone or? I guess I should just google it, huh?

It's the best radio I've ever seen or used. It has like 6 pre-amp outputs, no disc option, totally Android powered. It has it's own "Asteroid Marketplace" that is some apps designed specifically for it... Think Nav, Music, Etc. However, I installed the Amazon App Store and downloaded Netflix, Flixster, and several others. You can hack it and install any Android apps you can think of if you want to...

Great spot on that camera and out of the way. Had that spoiler on my previous 04, wish I had it on my 08.
