Hey congrats, I just picked up a TE yesterday and love it - I have some more questions about the S2000 mod.
What size screw matches up with the one that fits our mast - and what did you use to cover up the nut and bolt extension? That black piece that rests between the fender piece and the antenna?

I don't remember the exact sizes, but take your mast to Home Depot, get a nut that will thread on the mast thread then get a machine screw that will thread into the nut. Then look at the black chair leg tips and get one of an appropriate size. You'll probably have to buy a set. I think they're the one inch size.
Thread the nut onto the mast half of the nut's thickness. Now cut the head off the new bolt and thread the resulting shaft into the nut. Use super glue or Loctite to insure that they won't separate.
Cut a hole in the chair tip large enough to pass over the nut and add anything you can find to make up a spacer as in the pics on the linked site. Thread the resulting assembly onto the antenna mount on your truck. DONE! Congratulations!!
