Finally got away from stock look: Rims, tires, rack...

So after reading members posts here for months, I finally made some minor changes that got me away from the stock look of my limited T4R. Very happy overall!

I wanted to get rid of the stock 20's and get a more aggressive rim and tire, and I knew I only wanted to use bronze rims (I just see so many black wheels where I live and wanted a different look, plus I love bronze rims from my tuner car days). Level 8 or Konig were the only easy option for a bronze rim I knew of, and for a few hundred bucks less I chose the 17" Level 8's with a -10 offset. Based on everyone's suggestions here, I added Duratracs, 265/70/17.

Lastly, after waiting for several weeks my Baja rack also finally arrived yesterday! Love the changed look and looking forward to many adventures.

I particularly like the bronze rims... a unique look. I've gone through thousands of pics here and never seen anyone (that I remember) with bronze rims (apologies to anyone else who has em that I can't recall).

Sweet wheels man! I was just looking at the short Baja myself...I already have a Yakima Load warrior with the extension, so I figured I would just deal with that unless I went with a full length rack. Seeing the shorty on yours is making me revisit that decision....

Wow, nice looking Spyder there. Good to see another T4R owner with the same car combo I've got. I have the same color Spyder with a hardtop and tuned 2zz swap ~195hp to the ground Our 4Rs don't match though since I've got a Magnetic Grey TE. But your wheels sure do look sharp.

Do you notice more road noise from the rack at all? I love the wheels though.

the drivers-side front wheel rubbed a bit when turning in reverse, so I had to shave a little bit of fender liner.

I have not drove it very much, and I did hear a strange vibrating sound from the aluminum shield at a particular speed when going downhill... I need to drive it more to see when exactly it's doing it and if I can remedy it.

So, if I install DuraTracs on my stock TE rims, will the tires rub on the inside fender wells?

I am pretty sure mine only rubbed because my new wheels have a -10 offset.
