Got my OME 881/890 coils and OME shocks in a week ago, and needless to say I couldnt wait to get them on. So this weekend my brother and I made the attempt to do it ourselves. After a few runs to get autozone for some deep sockets, it all came together. Overall took about 6 hours to do, rears went on with out any problems, took us a while to figure out how to get the front lower shock bolt stabbed on the front, but once we figured it out the other side when on like a breeze.
Thanks for the solid advice; Baja Runner & 4runsport.
I know I am going to catch flak about the running boards, but until i can figure out some other sort of step into the cab they will have to remain. There is no way my wife (5'-0" tall) will ever be able to climb in there with out them. I am open to suggestions, but would like to do the sliders with the steps (kind of like what you see on some of the FJ's).
New Tires are right around the corner, thinking about going with the Nitto Terra Grapplers 285/75/R16's
