Finally... New Shoes!

I picked up four used 17x7.5" wheels on Friday night (to replace my stock 20" LE wheels). The guy I bought them from took them off his 2011 FJ Cruiser. Today, I had them mounted and installed with 265/70/17 Firestone Destination A/Ts. The difference is DRAMATIC!

I love the ride. It is ridiculously smooth compared to the Bridgestone Duellers that came with the vehicle as stock.

No, but I plan on telling him that, if he ever wants to switch out his spare, to give me a call and I'll buy it. That way I can mount a 5th Destination A/T and add it to the rotation.

I was thinking about getting a 5th FJ wheel and another Firestone A/T... then just rotating the fifth/spare tire as part of the regular rotation. Do you run your spare as just a spare?

I have six of each though 2 of the tires have approx 8 to 9k more miles on them so I use them as spares.

Keep in mind that the TPMS ecu can only read 4 sensors so if you do rotate in a fifth you would need to reprogram it each time you rotate so that it reads the four you have mounted, just FYI.
