First Heavily Modded 4runner

Um... even happier with my makeover... uh, I wouldn't want that and probably my elementary age sons would't either.

Contrary to everyone's likes/tastes, I am actually diggin' it!!! I like the color scheme!! sure the front end could use a better grill/armour, but overall I like it.. It reminds me of these guys!!!

Not a fan of the looks, personal preference. But I do like when somebody does a unique build to meet their specific needs. Would like to know more about what's going on in the dash.

Thank god its only a concept. If Toyota really wants to build a decent 4 runner to the consumer, check out this forum. A ton of ideas await them and it will turn into a killer rig.

I feel like Toyota already makes a good 4Runner as it is (more precisely: the only 4Runner lol). On the forum people are unhappy about all kinds of stuff, and like to nitpick about all kinds of crap. Truth be told, if it was not the best platform for them, then they would not have bought it in the first place. Ready made off road vehicles like the one above, sell 10X less than a stock 4Runner. Toyota needs to cater to every potential buyer, in order to justify bringing them here. It's kinda funny, but soccer moms make up a huge % of 4Runner (and similar vehicle) purchases. Without mall crawlin', we would all have highlanders.

P.S. WTF stock skid plates? :mod:

I'll take the tires and maybe the wheels. I'll put the coffee maker in my house, the rest that stuff they can keep. Hell you can't even store your gear in that truck with all the crap they put in it. Ugh I swear. See what happens when you give educated moneys hammers.

Modded 2014 4R for SEMA

Fun stuff....from press release:

The crew at Herbst Smith Fabrication in Huntington Beach, Calif. created an aggressive look through oversized front grill work, a dark Oakley camouflage-patterned vehicle wrap, LED lights and a rugged, metal roof rack designed to electronically lower and open to store two sets of skis. Comfort is in all the details. The doors, music, windows and other interior features are controlled by three separate iPads® for a high-end, customized experience. After a cold ski run, there is a coffeemaker, a dryer for each glove and boot and a mountable grill stored in the rear cargo area.
