Fishing Nantucket 2011 limited

Just wanted to say hello first post and great site here!!
Went to Nantucket island for week fishing and took my limited out in the sand good times!!

This guy had a bad day with his stretched rubicon ..

I'll post some pics of fish tonight when I get home .. Took me 3 days to find a bait and a sweet spot ! But once I' did I spent rest of week in one spot never moved once .. I took some vid too of riding the sand on point ..I don't now how to post video from photobucket?

Looks like the Jeep Rubicon had a wheel fall off due to the rotor and hub plowing through in the sand. Wheel spacer failure or Chrysler engineering?

Sweet! I visited Nantucket for the first time last summer but just took the Fast Ferry over for a day trip. Got an "ACK" sticker lol.

The 275-55-20 continentals are a great tire over the stock junk 20s .. They did well in the sand ....and the suspension and all wheel drive on my limited had me impressed since it's bone stock ...

Funny Monic, I just bought a 2012 Limited from Nantucket last week. It was someone's summer vehicle for their vacation house and then spent the winter in the garage. Imagine that. It only has 15k miles on it! Sooo pumped.

Nice choppers and a nice albie, Monic. Couple of questions, if you don't mind.

1) Do you air down to drive on the sand? (I'm guessing you do.) If so, do they have compressor stations, or do you bring a 12v compressor, or do you just go Chuck Norris and tell the tire what pressure to maintain?

2) When driving on the sand, are you running in your Limited's standard AWD, or 4HI, or 4LO?

Yes air down to 15-20 psi.. Compressor station was at the starting point of the the great point park..and I switch the limited in to 4 hi to lock her in ..oh it's a bonito not albie too
