fj/bilstein install seattle area

hey all! this is going out to the fellow T4R owners in the seattle area. the question specifically is does anyone know of a good shop that could do this install for me? i live in an apartment complex and don't have the mechanical skills do pull it off myself anyways. i just got off the phone with one shop that quoted me $600 for the install and alignment...sound like a fair price? anyways all and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

That's really high imo. Around here you can easily get it done for half that price. It's about a four hour job, I would keep looking for another shop.

Are these the Bilstein 5100s? What year of 4Runner and does it have XREAS?

That does seem a bit high. Does that include an alignment? Where did you go to get this quote?

yes they are the 5100's and the quote was with the alignment included. the quote was from a shop in lynnwood called Brody's. i've only been up here in the seattle area for a couple years so i'm not familiar with the local shops. you guys have any preferances as to which shop you would take your T4R's to?

I remember someone posting about getting their local yota stealership to do the lift install for a great price. He said something about many places are looking/hurting for business so they'll give you a good deal just to get you in there.
Alot of offroad shops will significantly upcharge folks for installs/products just because. Definitely call around to other places and see what they would charge you - there may even be regular lube shops that will just charge you the hourly rate to do the install.
