FJ Springs finally installed and 3/4" preload spacer

Picked up a set (4) about a year ago with the intent of installing them when the time is/was right.

The rubbing w/ the new tires and the 2' of snow coming down made it today

2008 4Runner V8 Limited w/ X-REAS and Rear Air Suspension (RAS).

Unfortunately, RAS precluded the installation of 2 rear springs, leaving that for another day.

Also up was I went with the standard 3/4" spacer in the front.

Center hub to fender flare is 20.5". However, with larger new tires -- (275/65R18's) the front sits 36" off the ground.

With the RAS rear in "low" setting (driver side) was 36". Placing it back at "normal" puts the right side at 36.75" and the driver side at 36.5".

Center hub to fender flare is 21" and 21.2" for driver/passenger.

Center ground clearance (jack point and diff) is 10"

Oh, and since I had the sway bar off, put in the "prothane" bushings (30mm).

I am thinking of putting spacers and the same tire size on my 08 urban runner, do you have any pics of your rig so I can see how those look?

Here some pictures from today in Alum Rock Park in San Jose.

Here's the spacer and the rubber piece. Keeping the rubber piece gives you just a little more lift.

Rear tire with, almost 37" from the ground to the fender flare.

The front fender flare is just about 35" off the ground.

Where is the spacer ??

You have to keep the rubber in there , looks like you have a topout spacer not a preload or atleast I can't see a preload .

You need to measure from the ground to the fender lip , through the center of the rim center cap to get somewhat accurate measurement .
