Is anyone getting to the summit early to get some runs in before the event officially begins? I will be getting there Tuesday and plan to get out for a run Wednesday.

I'm going to be RTT'ing it and have found a few spots suggested by FJC members. Interested to see if anyone wants to camp together.

I'll be doing the RTT thing, but managed to find a campground with showers.
This is my first Summit as well. Heading down from Denver really early on the 19th.
Trails my buddy and I will be running.
Thursday Trail Run: The Gulches at 07:45 AM
Friday Trail Run: Poughkeepsie Gulch at 08:20 AM
Saturday Trail Run: Black Bear Pass to Ophir Pass at 08:00 AM

Other fun options down there are California Gulch, Hurricane Pass, Cinnamon Pass, and Stoney Pass if people are looking for more terrain. Governors Basin is also Beautiful.

Definitely. Imogene and Black Bear were packed last year. Traffic jam in the San Juan Mountains.

I'll be driving down from Arvada the morning of the 19th. I plan to take the scenic route on 285 out of the Morrison area to Salida and then 50 to Montrose and down to Ouray. No clue on an actual time, but would be cool to get down early enough to play around on Yankee Boy or something.
