I am super excited about all of these things! Those light bars are so neat and will go really well with the new rack.

Have you thought about vinyl wrapping the hood? Or part of it at least, for the glare from the light bar. That would look sweet.

You have 4.30 gears right? On my last 4runner I had 285s with that ratio towards the end and it was a really good mix, never really felt the need to re-gear beyond that. I think that with a bigger tire (even a 295) it would have taken away from how much I liked it. Food for thought, especially with how much we drive up those passes into the mountains.

I was really honestly about to tear it all right back off when i first did it but seeing it in good light and a little muddy after some messing around today and I really like it. Added to the cleanness of it especially covering up the scratched poor ass paint on the fenders. Plus i think it stands out a little more now. It's shiny!!! Drew is a champ for letting us use his stuff.

How long is your CB cable and how did you route it, if you remember?

I had the same mount as you, but on the driver side. I had to take it off when I got the 4x rear bumper because the handle hit it. I'd really like to get this CB hooked back up sometime but I'm trying to figure out the best configuration/set up for me for mounting the antenna. The rest of it is already there.

It's a the Dupli Color stuff, It's called Carbon Black Car Wrap or something similar. O'Reillys didn't have plasti dip. I'm sure the difference is minimal.

I want to say the cable is 15ft and I ran it in under my taillight and along the floor board on the passenger side right next to the door, the plastic where the door closes is easy to pull out along with the side of the cargo area. Then I ran it up and behind the dash where my CB is located. Took about 20 min and you cant see the cable at all.

Moab!!!!

Moab May 2017
Was planning on a short trip for Memorial Day weekend but the weather in CO was no bueno. We decided Moab was a good idea so we went for it!
Camped just on the border of CO and Utah Friday night and hit the town on Saturday morning. Couldn't decide what trails we wanted to hit and also did not want to camp near town that night. I came up with the idea of running Lockhart Canyon and Basin and so that's what we did!

[MENTION=144428]RockyMtnPhoto[/MENTION] is quite the adventure buddy to say yes to these random ideas that are usually really farfetched and zero planning involved. Lockhart for those who don't know is about a 120 mile round trip through some of the most pretty parts of Utah and with some extra Gas you can hit Chicken Corners and Needles overlook and a few other really scenic spots that we opted to skip. The 4runner held up amazing besides some awful MPG on the way out. Enjoy pictures!

Actual Plastidip brand is trash. The duplicolor stuff is easily the best plasti dip IMO.

In recent news!

Went out, as usual, this weekend with [MENTION=144428]RockyMtnPhoto[/MENTION] and did some light wheeling, camping, and some hiking!

While getting ready and packing my truck I kept smelling gasoline. I figured it was my gas cap outgassing being it was about 85 degrees out and thought nothing of it. As the sun started to set I could still smell it. So I crawled under the truck and noticed a wet spot right where my driveshaft rubs on my gas tank. I knew it rubbed often but never thought anything of it because it hits my Lil Skips Gas Tank skid as well and I figured it couldn't rub any further.

I WAS WRONG. There is a hairline crack in my tank sadly towards the bottom that seaps gas. So not only do I have a 17 gal tank that's been beaten to shit and holds at most 14 gallons it's also leaking. RIP MPG.

So I'm torn between swapping an f150 tank or pulling a 17gal at Yota Jims in Denver. I'm not going to worry about it till next week. At the moment I have a giant clump of Steelstick or whatever the Billymays Mighty Putty crap from O'Riellys jammed on it which slows it down a considerable amount. While I cry over my gas tank enjoy these pics!
