Fog hid conversion help

Hey guys so I'm trying to install the sdx hid 3k kit for my fog lights. It says that 5202 will fit the h16. Well I took apart my bumper and it seems to me like this plug and play kit won't fit with this model. I'm confused. So I would love some input and help thanks

No. Google search and you will see that HID kits in fog lights will burn the plastic housing. Buy either Rigid or TRS LED fogs. I think @weeee did that and his lenses started to melt. His build thread for sure has a picture of it.

IIRC, the plug is the same as a H11 and uses a lower wattage bulb in the fog, not a H16...
I know the bulb shows a OSRAM H16. There is where the confusion starts.

So, if you want to put a HID in your fogs, which is highly unadvisable (melting lens and possible wires), you will need a H11 kit.

To say nothing of the fact that you'll piss off every other person on the road by using HID bulbs in a reflector which wasn't designed for them. But you're not one of those soulless a$$holes who drives around with his fogs on 24/7 are you?

That's what I thought after I looked at the plugs. I'll go with led fog lights since they won't cause problems lol

Thanks everyone for the input and help. I will definitely be returning these lights for leds instead! And I do not drive with my fog lights on 24/7 cause that's just silly! I am just prepping my rig for winter up here in north idaho!

Hella micro de with hid conversion are supposedly fantastic as well, if you go down the road of new housings.
