Fog Light Anytime Mod Comparison

I have been reading through the Fog Light Anytime threads and want to see what the hive-mind thinks about the similarities and differences between these two:

1) Antman's mod on his 5th gen

vs.

2) This mod to a 4th gen
Toyota 4Runner Independent use of Fog Light Mod

My thoughts are that the second version seems cleaner.....

Apples and grapes. Different factory wiring means the 4th gen probably won't work on 5th gen and from what I see, might harm the ECU

5th Gens have multiple light relays housed and sealed in plastic boxes and they call them ECU's rather then separate relays like 4th Gens.

Antman's way is quite ingenious and well thought out and the way to go if using the factory switch!Either that or wire them to a separate switch and relay as I used to have mine.
