Ok, so I orders some new bulbs for my foglights. Have a 2014 SR5 Premium. Ordered a pair of H16 bulbs per the manual. However, what i received has a different base than what is on the car? Am I missing something? Am I supposed to switch the base over? Are these H11 or something else? It says H16 on the stock bulb, but why does it have a 90 degree connector rather than the straight on plug like the H16's I got in the mail. Please help.

I think that bulb is designed to work with 5202 /5201 / h16 and others. There is nothing that can be removed from the OEM bulb and the harness should just plug on to the back of that bulb even though it doesn't have the 90 on it. Depending on manufacture it may not matter which way you plug the bulb in but if it doesn't work try flipping the plug around
Thanks for the help. I think the plug will still work, but my concern is mounting it into the housing. Doesn't seem to have the same mounting setup.
Yeah, doesn't fit. Plastic on sides blocks it and it doesn't have the tabs on it to lock it in place.
I have sent them. But I'm also trying to figure out from other 4 runner owners of the bulb it's a true h16 or really a h11.

It is a true H16 as printed on the bulb and in the manual
Edit: I have not actually seen the 2014 fog lights, but I can't imagine they would have a typo in the manual as well as have h16 printed on a h11 bulb.
Edit again: From some searching it looks that a h16 and h11 are the same size / form factor. Difference being that h16 are only 19w vs 55

Well let me call you search God. You're right, never thought of trying Google. Just didn't see that one. And am I to assume it's the same for 4 runners then as Subarus? Just thought a forum was a place to ask and get information. I don't understand why everyone harps on people about searching.
I may be late to the party, but I was reading on a Subaru forum that you should specifically look for "H16 OSRAM". I just did the same and found quite a few that look exactly like what you pulled out of your '14. I also read they are the same for H11's except for the bulb (not base) size and wattage. I'm going to buy a cheap H11 and see how it does to see if the circuit will handle the extra power. Personally, I'm looking to add some 4300K Morimotos and want a yellow fog to contrast the HID low beams. These are kinda pricy ($130 / pair), but I like the color. LED FOG LIGHT BULB They're also not the brightest (only 600 lm each), but with the 4300K HIDs I plan to get, it shouldn't matter. I'm going more for the look here over function. If I want some serious fogs, I'll add a pair.
I had 3000K HIDs in the fogs on my old '06, but I didn't like where I had to mount the ballasts. With the LED bulbs there are no ballasts.

I bought some Hella H11 yellows for the fogs and just cut a tiny bit off 2 of the three tabs on the base if the bulb. Fits perfectly and looks great.
