Yeah you get half. Definitely will be a 6 speed but my v8s going to be drinking premium gasoline :roadkill:

Oh I sold them for cheap, it was more out of convenience of getting the money in Atlanta while I was getting the new ones. I'm a sucker for less hassle...never ends up that way though so I welcome opportunities that encourage it

So Weston, why the distaste for the Nitto TG? I've been very pleased with mine since day one. (Especially since I only paid $450 shipped to my door for the set.) For an AT tire, they've been great on & off road. Granted, as of late, they've only seen the pavement though. They'll turn 50K miles by the end of this month and I hope/plan to get at least another 15K +/- miles out of them (baring they don't turn to racing slicks by then...otherwise, I'll be getting a new set of tires sooner than not.)

Let me know how the Yoko Geos perform, as that was the tire I was leaning towards when these TGs are done. I too like to try out different tires, thus the reason I've thought about trying out a set of those vs going back w/ the TGs . My 4Runner will not be seeing anything but pavement for a good while, so I don't need anything overly agressive...I just don't want a simple radial either.

We're in similar situations. I want comfort more than anything now since I've come to terms with mall crawling for a while, the dvd player sure prompted me to quiet the interior (which by the way i will be coming to you about sound deadening) and its pointless for me to uselessly wear these km2s on the road, better I get out while they still have some solid value and get into a lighter all terrain...now the trucks taken on a life of its own so the tire in some sense needs to appease the rest of the 4runner's features.

About the TGs though, nothing personal or directly negative. Just recently have been deterred by popular opinion, I like what other's might not be looking at, and seeing how no one besides Steve over at Sonoran has run this tire in the size that I know I'm interested to try it. I've never really liked the sidewalls of the Nittos for starters and with similar tread patterns I favor the Toyo A/T. I'm just freaking out a little by the 3" loss in width but I'm optimistic.

On a tire note....my buddy got the Good Year Duratracs and loves them. It's an A/T but has a very aggressive look to them.

I have one more Gobi ladder brand new I can bring up with me if you're interested. $180 and its yours I've passed on several offers just cause I don't want to ship haha

The Duratracs have a wide span of reviews, now that doesn't mean its necessarily bad but its open for a lot more discussion. I'm sticking with this decision for about a year, or whenever I want some new ones I guess.

I'd be a bit worried about that decrease in width too, but you won't know know for sure until you mount them. Being a guinea pig does come with its pros and cons.

I can relate to mall crawlin'. That's all I've been doing lately myself. You know it's sad when you get excited about driving thru the grass in the median of an interstate. lol

Oh yeah, I meant to comment on your radio thread...glad to see you finally upgraded from Toyota's archaic HU.

Haha yeah I had a Pioneer cd player but it was so old and basic it was pretty much a stocker. This one has opened my eyes. I have a cigarette lighter 1-to-4 adapter, I was thinking of pulling the mount in the dash and wiring everything underneath the shift level and t-case selector and around that area. Any reason why I shouldn't do this? Trying to put a ps2 in as well

Side note: not hating on the ps2 since i own one... i jsut play my ps3 at home so i guess the ps2 would have a purpose. Well if u end up putting it in the runner id def be interested to see how u do it.

I already installed my PS2 in my runner, I plan on getting the wireless controls once I decide on where I plan on permanently mounting it. Not sure if the wireless will work if the console is in the glove box and its shut. The wired controls are pretty long so its not real high on the "to-do" list.
