For those who removed running boards...

I took them off today and stared blankly for about 5 minutes trying to decide if I liked them off. I came to the conclusion that it makes the middle look too skinny, making it appear more like a Durango than a 4Runner so I put them back on for now.

I did that too about 3 months ago before i put the lift on. Once I got them off, I stared at it for like 5 mins and decided i could see all the crap that the running boards hides. I figure I will try it again now with the lift. We'll see.

keylay, how do you like your lift so far? You are a few weeks ahead of me, has it sagged at all?

I love the lift. Haven't measured. I will do it tomorrow. I am a little on edge about it leaning, but every time i look at it, its leaning a different way, so
I figure its about right.

Mine has no lean to it at all, on either side. I want the back to sag just a bit though because I have almost 1/2 an inch of a rake.

Yup. I'm not ditching mine until I can replace them with something more functional.
