Sorry for all the newb questions but I am new to offloading. Just sold my E55 AMG and am taking over the runner.
If I plan to do a lift should I go to the 0 os, 5" bs to begin with? Probably two months between the two

tough decision to make. based from my experience/mistake if you plan on going with a tire section width of 275 you should be able to get by with the 20x9", +18mm offset, 5.71" bs wheel (maybe even with 285 width). anything bigger (width/diameter) you'll need the 0 offset, 5" bs.

Been discussed before as someone contacted them about it.....that was a one off they made for that show truck.
Wouldn't be that hard to fab new brackets that bring them down under the rocker panels like they did for that truck. There are 3 brackets(6 bolts) each side that attach the same place as the brackets for the stock limited/sr5 rocker panels.

quoting myself but as promised, here's the pic. plus some additional pics to show fitment. as you can see (and from me driving) 33" tires with the right wheel setup will fit with no rubbing problems if you do a minor liner trim. i believe harper7 is running wider tires than i (305) so it's all about the right wheel specs.
#1 - tires stick past fender flare by about 1"
#2 - front inner fender well liner trim, wheel at full inward lock
#3 - tread blocks/lugs, wheel at full outward lock (front view)
#4 - body mount (not chopped), wheel at full inward lock
#5 - wheel/tire/lift setup. clearance of 33" tires in front fender well
#6 - courtesy profile shot

Ummmm......WOW!!!! Amazing video!!! One question though.....what is up with driving on the 'wrong side of the road' during the opening??? Truck was running on the right of the yellow lines then a little later for a long stretch on the 'wrong' side!? Again though, amazing, love the roof angle and the low ground one, thought for a second a rock was going to take the camera right out. I hope to see more in the future!

Did the DYNAPRO ATM RF 10's bulge in the sidewalls, or did you have E RATED?
Been reading about bulging or weak side walls, may be its the P RATED, which is what I'm looking at for them.
I am asking cause my folks need tires, and RF 10'S seem like the ticket due to quite ride on road with good looks.

Is it recommended to air down on a dirt road and a few small bumps? I left my Duratrac Es alone (44psi) for my recent adventure, and was on much rockier terrain. I am still working on an air source to air back up.

LOL! I didn't even notice that! Trust me, we were on the right side of the road the entire time. My buddy proabably edited the video that way on purpose! :wow:
Yes, it is. That road is much rockier, bumpier, and has tons of whoops which the video doesn't show. The fastest we drove was probably 30mph. Pressure settings are subjective, I aired down from 42psi to 30psi. I will probably air down to 25psi next time. Nitto recommended 20psi for that terrain on the video.

They were P rated and bulged when I had them on the factory wheel because the 275 needs a minimum rim width of 7.5" (factory is 7"). They didn't bulge on my aftermarket wheels. I owned two sets of these tires and loved them in all conditions. Very quiet with great road manners but I needed a more aggressive tire.

Thanks for info, looking for good tire with a little LOOK to it.
My mother still has about 10-15,000 miles on stock tires with 29,000 on them at present. I replaced mine on my 07 TUNDRA at 22,000 due to wearing down even to bars.
I am looking at the YOKOHAMA a/t AND DESTINATION A/T as well for her.
Just want a quieter tire for 99% on road for 07 4runner.

Demello Rock Sliders
Thanks to forum member Dlak, I was able to get my Demello Sliders installed today. A couple months ago I removed my rocker panels to give the truck a more aggressive looking stance but really hated the unfinished look of it. I've been waiting to see if there was someone who would fabricate sliders for Limited/SR5 owners where we would be able to keep our rocker panels on. Thanks to Jason and his team for doing just that!
These guys are super friendly and did fantastic and professional work. I blacked the chrome accents on my panels and his team trimmed them down cleanly before mounting the sliders. I think they look great, I know they'll work great, and they're very functional as a step (my wife will be very happy :reddance
