? For you folks that have Katzkin leather added?

Got my 4Runner back today with the katzkin leather installed. I went with the regular no-frills option. It looks fantastic, and feels soft and supple and broken in already. Oh.. and my car smells like a shoebox LoL.

I'd say the quality is great. The installer did a fantastic job. All the corners seem to be properly lined up, and the factory cloth seats are not cut to pieces. Took them the better part of 3 days to do it, but I'm happy that the job was done right the first time. I'll take pics tomorrow and try to get them posted up.

I've got about 30k on my Katzkin leather seats. Great product, and I'm very glad I made the change from my standard SR5 fabric. I paid $1,200 installed, and I found a leather wrapped steering wheel from a parted-out Limited on eBay for $135.

I wounder how much it would cost if you installed the Katzkin yourself. It doesn't seem like it would be any harder to do, then installing a heat seater, like many t4r users have done. However, It doesn't seem like Katzkin sells its kits to just anyone, you have to be a dealer or installer....

Has anyone been able to buy just the kit? How did you do it, and how much did it cost.

Got a REALLY good deal on an SR5 few months back but with Black Leather interior (Silver Exterior). This will not fly in Houston area Summers so planned to just have Black Factory Leather swapped for Gray Katzkin but the place I was planning to use is telling that they cannot get a "kit" for installing Katzkin Leather in place of factory! Help! The price was worth the "swapout" price that the Katzkin will cost me, and besides the factory leather is too uncomfortable for me.
