Warn EVO VR 10S installed. Factor 55 ultrahook. Magnaflow exhaust dropped off at performance coatings in Auburn WA for 2000 deg gray ice ceramic coating. Will match the TRD headers.

This is temporary. No trimming necessary. My installer Vince just put some shims on the mounting holes over the winch. I will relocate the solenoid to the engine bay, and fabricate an aluminum cover given the synthetic rope exposure to UV.

I can’t recommend the KM3’s. Supposedly very difficult to balance. One tire went back on warranty for being out of round.

What size tire did you go with?

Thanks man! I have an extra set of those billet aluminum knobs. The only thing is that you will need to modify the OEM pegs. If interested send me a PM.

Magnaflow exhaust system is back from the coaters. Install on the dyno tomorrow.

Front end is now complete with the Warn winch and factor 55 ultrahook being the final mods to the front of this truck.

Next up is the rear and roof. Nguyen works dual swingout color matched thundercloud and Sherpa Matterhorn rack in process. Will need to trim the rack to fit the hilux spoiler.

How are you liking those KM3's? I almost pulled the trigger on them but I already installed the Wildpeaks on my work truck and loved the ride, so went with those instead.

Unlike OP. Had K3 work great allaround and in snow, no balance issue. Changed to Goodyear as I could only get 20k out of them driving mtn roads daily with offroad. K3 better in snow than duratrac.

Today the 4runner went to @intecracing for a baseline dyno and ceramic coated [MENTION=97165]Magnaflow[/MENTION] overland exhaust install. Unfortunately, after strapping down I was unable to disable traction control and VSD so the dyno didn’t happen. The exhaust install went mostly without issues. Minor modification was necessary to the rear bracket holding the tailpipe. Not a big deal and nothing Tristan couldn’t handle. Also got the stainless bud built rear diff skid plate installed. Thank you @intecracing for a job well done!

The exhaust is moderate in terms of tone and aggressiveness. The beauty is in the engineering of the Helmholtz resonator. Magnaflow did their research and tuned the resonator to reduce drone at 2000-2300 rpm. Overall the exhaust adds character to this 4runner and like the ceramic coated TRD headers... may outlive the truck. Actually... scratch that. Toyota after all!

I just took Duratracs off and although I had no real trail experience with them, the SL rating felt too weak on the sidewall to inspire confidence with spirited driving. These E rated Wildpeaks are stout but still forgiving on the road.

Tested the LED mirrors on a first gen Tacoma awhile back. Not surprisingly... perfect fit.
