why not just get a 14 then with that mindset? personally I think you got the cock and the balls if you paid $36.5 +TTT, and 2.9% is not a great rate by any means these days.... very average.

I think I did pretty well a loaded new pearl white ($46,000) 13 4x4 limited, auto running boards, remote start for $36,300. Toyota 2.9%, extended warranty $875 125,000.
I'm a pretty good negotiator...however, I would like to see where I went wrong.

you are comparing MSRP to the sale price you paid... and we are talking Florida.... we don't pay premium for 4x4 down here. Last check at WC Toyota the remaining 13 limiteds were prices at $35.7k (That is asking) my guess is about $32k would be the negotiated price..... so not a genius but it seems pretty clear to me. I would suggest negotiating your finance rate next time though. I would say anything over 1.9% for a new vehicle is crap.... but again I dont know your credit history so that may be good in retrospect, as long as you are happy with your deal it doesnt matter what I think though

That will give you a sense of whether the used one is reasonably priced for a 2012 with 11K miles. Beyond that, it's up to you to get comfortable with the options and make a choice.

Folks, i gotta tell you, this is one of the most peculiar forums i have ever seen. I do apologize to the good folks who have offered thoughtful and constructive feedback bc this is not directed at you but this is at least the second time ive watched one of my posts run afoul with complete nonsense, disrespect and uselessness. I have a very broad range of interests and experience in various things, which means my hobbies have me interacting with a variety of folks on different subjects and in different forums but the poor behavior on this site is inexcuseable and frankly, a shame. At first i thought i might be interacting with a bunch of young kids but noticed a number of folks were much older. In fact, one of the big offenders last week was 51 years old, i couldnt believe it. And then others pile on to aggressive and offensive comments with a "like it" stamp or some nonesense like that.
I know some will get really pissed by my comments here and there is probably a reason for that. Others will realize the sad truth of what im saying.
Anyway, it is time for me to move on, this is not the kind of place i wish to interact based on what I've seen in my short time here..

Where's ol' Stifee --maybe he's too busy wheeling and dealing those 2013 limiteds for $35,000. He is what I hate about message boards. I go on to learn and share about interests, like my new 4Runner, and as soon as someone mentions the price of something, you are handed a bunch of "you are a sucker" replies. Same thing on the audiophile boards. You mention that you purchased a speaker for this amount of $$$, snobby guy who paid $7,000 for a speaker WIRE chimes in how you got ripped off. Amazing.

Very true. Same with salaries. Human nature has it's kwerks (did I spell that correct?). I'm a commercial photographer that specializes in commercial Architecture and real estate. A fellow photographer in another city purchased a new LEXUS SUV for his work travels (He had a Jeep Grand Cherokee before). For some reason he lost one of his major realtor clients right after the purchase out of the blue. When he asked, they mentioned that theyneeded to cut cost,, etc. However, the photographer heard from another agent that the real reason she left was he purchased a new Lexus and felt she must have been overpaying for his services. This coming from a Realtor of all people. It was probably that he had a nicer car than the Realtor. However, Lexus is quite conservative..I would hate to see if he pulled up in a BMW.
