Front end overhaul. What should I do next

Just plasti dipped the wheels and front grill. Put Laminix yellow fog light covers on and hitchlink 55 aluminum recovery point. What should I do next? Bilsteins or TRD intake then Bilsteins? Wanna set up up 2.5" in front and a 1.5" coil spacer for the rear to get away from the soccer mom stance

Honestly?
Get rid of running boards. They won't last one decent dirt road. Get rid of the bug shield. Bugs still hit your windshield.

Get some good AT tires. There are millions of them from BFG KO2 to Cooper AT3. They are all good so don't ask which one is best.

If you do this, it will look better. Promise. THEN you can decide what to do next.

Oh, overhauling the front end means replacing the bushings, shocks and all wear points. Pretty sure you didn't do that.

I use this as my daily driver. Don't go off-roadies that much unless through a little mud or snow if any would fall this year. I want to replace the running boards with rock crawler type but my 4 year old who climbs into the back seat uses the factory ones every day and I think would injure herself in the metal ones. Like I said I'm never going rock climbing here in Northern VA. I think I would rather do suspension then tires then the LED bar...I coach football so I could see me using it to light up an area of the field where it's dark

Don't worry about the intake unless you up size your tires. Start off with a K&N washable air filter. slightly noticeable improvement in performance and at $50, its a good bang for you buck long term. If you really want to go full CAI, check the mods section for the TRD CAI thread and do it for just over $200 by buying the parts separately.

Raise it a bit, and get wheel spacers and AT tires or wheels with a better offset and AT tires. That is all it needs and the running boards won't stick out as much.

I raised the front of mine an inch only and it looks much better. Just waiting for my wheels to arrive.

Sorry I am a newb, if I do the Bilstein 5100s all the way around with 2.5" of lift in the front and use a 1.5" daystar spacer in the rear....would I need to use wheel spacers? What is the benefit to them?

Wheel spacers would space out the wheels so they aren't 2 inches under the fenders. The truck will
Look better with the tires pushed out close to flush with the fenders.

If it was me I'd just get different wheels that do the same thing and sell yours, then spacers aren't needed.

P.S. Today I learned that factory running boards have a correlation with soccer moms. Might need to upgrade to sliders on my Limited now, ugh.

remove running boards and remove the bow shackle so its not needlessly exposed to the elements, then do whatever you want

5100's set to 1.75 with a 1" cornfed rear spacer (so you are not on the bubble for new UCA's) and AT tires and mentioned above...done and done.

Keep the rigid running boards of you're not doing anything but light off road as they are a nice functional step and help with keeping stuff (rocks/dirt etc..) from the rocker and side panels. If you are doing a more moderate trail ride just take them off, only takes about 10 minutes a side.

Trade it in and get a Pilot, because that's how you're using it.

It's like dudes that buy a full size pickup, lift it, put aggressive tires on it, and then don't use it to haul stuff, tow, or offroad...it blows my mind. I love taking a look in the beds of these trucks and see them in pristine condition....they are just road queens.

Or people that have KO2s or mud tires and its obvious by the wear that they have never seen dirt.

I never say I don't go off road, I said I just use it to play in the mud and get around my hunting property on trails and dirt roads, nothing like rock crawling or anything serious and that most of its life is spent on the road....

I disagree - we have the bug shield and over a three year period I can attest it has killed 6 bugs and injured at least 3 others!
