Front tow hooks and bull bars

Bullbar installed

Update, I installed the bullbar. Four 10mm bolts, two on each side of the bracket where the bumper mounts to the brackets. The brackets are above the tow hooks but using the hooks would be most difficult because of lack of room. All in all, took about an hour to install would have been faster if I would have had some deep sockets. you might get a fabrication shop to make a set of brackets for the bullbar.

thanks man,ive posted on 4 toyota fourms and your the only one to at least give me an answer, how much do you think those brackets will cost to get fabcricated?

I don't know what the cost would be..probably not cheap...sure it would be a flat rate plus the metal which would probably need to be hardened or tempered plus the fabrication of the brackets to match the bullbars you have, if you know the manufacturing company....might be cheaper to send inquiries to places that sell them and see if you can buy just the brackets or just see if they might have an open box missing a part or two and they would be willing to just sell the brackets but again, you would need to know the maker's name

all good, i called the guy who sold me the brush guard and he got the brackets off for me, now the problem is mounting it lol, ive been searching all night could not find a single thing, can u post some pics of how you mounted it? and what about the two arms that attach above the bumper/below the front grille, what do you do there? lol thanks!

Do a search on Google. Lookatall the places that sell the bullbars. One of them, for some reason, I want to sat Westin shows the mounting instruction along with a diagram. Pretty much self explanatort and the diagram is not that good antway. Good luck, you'll do well, Havea good one.....Harold

Sorry it's late. But maybe it'll help others in the future about interference (the lack of) with the tow hooks.

OK...I got the Steelcraft which is a little bigger (wider) than the Westin, Aries, etc etc...and didn't need to remove the tow hooks for installation
Some pics to give u an idea how it would be if need to tow the 4runner. Now...the Steelcraft bull bar skid plate is removable and thats a plus.

I just used it like and example I didn' t have anything else available at the moment to take the pic....so I used what was handy so the person who asked get the view.
