1997 4Runner SR5 3.4L V6 4x4 5-speed Manual E-Locker.
Current Mileage just under 189k.
$4800 obo

Runs great! Bought it in 2012 and have used it as my daily driver (~215 miles/week) for the last couple years. My father-in-law passed me his 2002 SR5 with just under 99k on it and I figured it's time to sell the '97.

All mechanics in working order, except the power antenna, which was missing when I bought it. Only negative thing I can say about it (other than cosmetic wear) is that, to the best of my knowledge, the timing belt and water pump have never been changed. I haven't changed it myself, because it runs so well. I planned to do the work myself when needed, with the help of info here on T4R.org.

I replaced the head unit with a Kenwood DPX500BT.
I replaced the brakes (calipers, rotors, pads) with new parts from O'Reilly.
I replaced the clutch master/slave cylinders and had a pro mechanic replace my clutch.
Added the rear dif breather mod in the gas filler area.
Just recently cleaned the throttle body and replaced the PCV valve.

I really haven't done much else to it except enjoy driving it. I haven't taken it offroad once. Next up on my maintenance list was going to be LBJs, but I haven't been driving it since getting the 2002, except to keep it's juices flowing now and again.

It is Anthracite Metallic. Unfortunately, the clear coat on this Runner was already peeling and roof paint oxidized (sp?) when I bought it. There are pics of this in my Flickr album if anyone wants to check it out.

I had considered cleaning up the top and covering in bedliner and doing some touchups on the chips on the hood. But, I wanted to keep as much of the original paint intact, because I love the color. If I were to keep her, this would be my plan of action.

That retracting sunroof is one of the things I'll miss most, don't have one on my 2002.
