I hate to be that guy that joins the forum to post a classified.... but I am that guy, so here goes:

Body is amazing shape, but engine likely has a cracked head.

This is a long story....

$4500 asking price. All reasonable offers considered.

This 4runner sits in Stowe VT area. It has a 2LTE Engine that probably has a cracked head. Mechanic that worked on it last wasn't up to the task...

• 1987 Toyota 4Runner / Hilux Surf Turbo Diesel
• 100% legally registered as a diesel
• 1992 2L-TE Engine - 2.4L Turbo Diesel - SOHC
• A343 automatic transmission
• 220,000 kilometers (137,000 miles)
• push button auto-locking 4x4 works perfectly
• front & rear 4.88 differentials
• 2 new NAPA batteries April 2014 with 18 month replacement
• 265/75/R16 Goodyear Wrangler tires with 50%+ tread left.

It has minimal surface rust underneath, no structural rust though. During the winter, this truck was never driven or parked near the road so it didn't get the presumable northeast salt treatment.
