Has anyone ever run out of gas in a 4runner?
I had a 2nd Gen 4runner, was out west, headed from Grand Junction CO to Moab Utah, the low fuel light came on, and I had to drive 110 miles before finding a gas station. Do the math, that's almost 2 hrs of driving, worried that you are going to run out of gas, and I didn't run out. After about an hour of staring at the gas gauge under E, I had the A/C off, coasting down hills, and going slow up the other side. But the 4runner did not let me down.
