I just paid the dealer $95 @35k miles to clean mine. Thinking may do the gas treatment every 10k miles so i don't have to pay this next time. Would that be in alignment with everyones thoughts to avoid paying the dealer this fee? Thoughts?

I use Gummout Fuel Injection cleaner every 10K or so.
Yes, I've used it on my Tacoma with good results.
I believe Toyota sells it's own brand. I have an Engineer friend with more toys than any 10 people and he swears by Marvels Mystery'added to gas and oil.
I still contend that religious use of Quality name brand gasoline (highly refined) vs the junk gas sold through convenience stores no-name brand - you will have no problems.
I always use the good stuff (I am not referring to octane) my wife buys whatever is cheapest. I never have an issue, she always does which of course then becomes my problem.
Finally have her convinced and have not had a problem since.

Gasoline is all the same. Except that regular can have up to 5% other stuff that burns (kero-aero, diesel, transmix). Premium is protected, no stray products added. These products are pipeline transmix - the pipelines pump many more refined products than just gasoline.
Oh, the truck that delivers to the station, at the truck loading rack he adds a quart or so of the brand name's latest advertised stuff. Techron, Z7, zippidy do, whatever.
I buy the cheapest gas and every 10 or 20 K miles add some Techron (detergent) concentrate to the gas. Rislone/Marvel and most similar stuff is a kerosene and light weight oil with a nice perfume added. They work, a little bit.
