Gas filler tube and range

Hi all,

Do you know if putting a little extra gas in the tank by filling the filler tube (I know you aren't supposed to do this) affects the range calculation? Meaning, if I fill the tank up full and it says I can go 350 miles, when I fill up the filler tube will it still say 350 miles? Stupid question, but I am curious.

(BTW, I got into this habit on my FJ to get another 75 miles between fill-ups.)
