gas price going up again?

2.81 for 87 here in STL. I have no reason to complain judging by what other people a paying.

I filled up my 4Runner with 87-octane unleaded this evening. My gauge was showing just above 1/4 tank and it cost me $46.50 for just over sixteen gallons. For the mathematically-interested, the pump price was $2.85 at Sheetz ( a convenience store chain ) - the cheapest place around.

The boss man said that our diesel fuel bill was almost fifty grand last month. Dayum! Maybe they're going to become a bit more efficient about how they route things, particularly for customers in those "way out" rural areas. Hopefully, though, they won't decide to cut back our speed governors. Most of us put in too many hours already.
