Getting wires into center console?

I am trying to figure out how to mount a fire/police scanner inside the center console. Mounting itself is no problem, it is getting the power wire into and the antenna wire out of the console. I can get these things to a power wire/rear window myself, I just don't know of a good (easy too?) way to get the wires into the console-

Thanks,

Karl

Thanks, Case CR4, that is a big help. any suggestions to remove the center storage console, which sits behind the shifter between the seats?

Follow the same instructions to remove the shifter trim and center console box trim. Then there are just six bolts to remove (two up front, two in the middle, and two inside the box. You have to detach a wire plug or two and then the box just lifts up and back and out.

I have 3 sets of aux lights (front, back, side to side) and each is on it's own switch so I have tons of wire running from the outside to the inside. On the drives side below the stearing wheel there is a big gromit that the e-break cable runs through. I just ran all the wires through that spot so that I did not have to drill any holes. There were a few other spots I saw that ran from in to out like AC stuff but the e.break worked great.

As for the trim around the CC it just pops out. If you flip open your ash tray with the lighter in it you should be able to pull it up and to the side to get the the whole section out. Just pops back in.

hope this helps!

I'm anxious to see these pics too. The pics you post on the "Post your mug" thread looked great. I really like your guard with the lights
