Is there still no knowledge on how this bolts up to a dual cat system?

Apparently a small modification to the mid-pipe...and it will fit.

yea, for those will dual cats, I just called my guy and he said all that should be needed is making the pipe shorter, not longer! Good news.

So be it. Do you have a semi quite muffler. I have the JBA (???) system...and it's way to loud for me!! Sound like a sick sounding V-8!! And has a constant drone right in the sweet spot. I'm sure if I was 20-25 years young...I'd be happier then a pig in poop, But...I'm not...hahahahahaha!!

Semi-quiet seems to be a magnaflow.

Drone on a v6 is no fun no matter what age in my opinion.

Drone is fine when you are looking for power. In a 4runner, not so much.

I appreciate the offer. Since I just put on the JBA system...I went out today and took my old muffler and replaced the JBA's muffler with it. So I have a nice SS exhaust system with a quite muffler.

Install done earlier today. I have a two cat system instead of one and it does work. The directions ask for you to cut 2 inches before the factory muffler for a single cat system but I had to cut about 5 inches. Besides that, seamless install. It is a bolt on system but instead I welded into place.

I just got home from work and it's too dark to take pictures but I'll get some tomorrow.

Had mine installed for about a week now. Nice and deep tone to it. Not too loud.

What do you mean by drone?
At idle from the inside, you have to listen for it as its not too loud and obnoxious by any means. When you step on it, it's definitely noticeable but not too 'ricey'. I was afraid to put an exhaust on a V6 but am overall happy with the sound of it. Install was easy and purchase, start to finish was seamless.

An aftermarket can drone when you say on the highway and cruising at a constant rpm say 2-3k and the exhaust makes a loud deep sound that drones across the entire vehicle. Very annoying and only fix is turn that gangsta rap up super loud!

Was just cruising on the highway at about 65 and didn't notice said drone. It sounded good, not super noticeable but definitely there. I usually ride with low music volume because I prefer the quiet and it wasn't bad at all.
No gangsta rap and Wu Tang needed for cruising pleasure.

So do you think the magnaflow is quieter than the gibson? Which magnaflow model are you talking about. I got the Gibson and I just can't stand it for a DD.
