Gibson Exhaust Rear Exit: Short Review

I have a 2005 Sport Edition V6.

Gibson rear exit exhaust was installed a few days ago.

Short Review:

I love it. It gives the truck a nice low rumble. It is not too loud and it doesn't drone on the highway. The sound becomes noticeable around 2500 rpm and up. So cruising at 60-80mph at around 2100 rpm is very quiet.

Anyway, I highly recommend this to those concerned about droning. I heard Magnaflow drones a lot so this is an alternative.

Also I like how the rolled OEM Valor tip looked vs the Gibson tip so the Gibson tip stays in the garage. It is for sale if anybody wants it.

I have the V6 and the Magnaflow and it does NOT drone to me. I think with the V8 is when you have a big droning problem.

How do you like the Magnaflow? I heard that they drone on the highway. I really like the Gibson, no drone and just the right sound.

I didn't think it would fit at first so I tried to sell it but talked to another Gibson owner and he taught me how to put it on.
