GOBI - real World Noise and MPG

Wow dude! You gonna be alright? Wasn't an attack. Maybe I'm just jealous or I got a bum 4Runner. Never saw 20+ mpg. But then again, I don't drive it to church. I would also bet most people don't get 20+ either. It just reminds me of when I tried explaining how hot my girlfriend was who lived 3000 miles away to my friends who never saw her when I was 16. Lighten up buddy. I would buy you a beer any day. Life's too short to take things personally.

Adding the gobi sucked about 1mpg off the top. With tires, lift, armor, bumper, lights, battery, fridge, awning, and cargo slidder I average between 14.5-16mpg. It really depends on traffic and how much I push the skinny pedal. I had a resent tank get nearly 18mpg but the next one was 14. My wife's 2014 AWD Sienna gets 21 and she drives like a turtle.

Don't take this the wrong way, but maybe you need to send your hair shirt to the laundry and relax a little. In this setting and subject matter it might be your social skills that are set a little too far to the sensitive side.
