2010 4ruuner tires and wheels suggestions

so i have a 2010 trail 4runner with a 3 inch rough country lift but i still have the stock tires and wheels. could i get a suggestion on what would be a better upgrade?

2014 LE wheel and tire pre-purchase check

Want to replace a set of stock 20" wheels and tires with 17". I've read dozens or hundreds of fitment postings, and I think the following combination is a safe bet, but am posting this question because I don't want to spend more than $1200 for wheels and tires that might have an unpleasant surprise.

Can I expect any problems if I change to the Level 8 mk6 wheels (17x8", 0 offset) and Cooper A/TW 265/70R17 115S tires? (4runner has Sonoran Steel lift.)

You might, i reinforce MIGHT, have a very slight rub on the front fender lip at full steering lock in reverse. It's easily fixed with a little trim of the front inner lip and possibly doing the fender liner relocate.

Just installed Kumho 275/70/17 on stock wheels 17*7 with 15 mm offset , no mods , no rubbing, no lifts.

For what it's worth, I have 265 KO2's on 17x8 FN wheels with -10 offset and 4.1" of backspacing. With stock suspension, I had a very aggressive setup IMO with the wheels and tires much further out compared to stock wheels but I did have rubbing at full lock in reverse. AFTER lifting the front with Billy's set to 1.75 - I no longer have any rub at all and I wish I had 275's. I wonder if discount tire will hook me up on upgrading my tires from 265 to 275. Hahaha. I don't need them but I just want them.

Thanks a lot! I'll get some more pics of the side and quarter views but here are a couple pics from BEFORE I ever lifted the truck.

In This last pic the truck is not lifted but it looks more level because of the hitch rack and 2 bikes on the back.

Looks good. I have this same setup about to take place as well. Currently on stock wheels w/ Spidertrax with NTG G2s (stock size) with 1.75 Billy's up front and 1 inch spacer rear. But my FN Cntrsteer Type X arrive today! Have to leave town for a few days, so won't be installed until next week sometime. Very interested to see how much different the truck will look.

i get the feeling a lot off people get scared when reading this. it scared me..

i contemplated getting 275 with no spacers based on the graph (scary red)

not being one to play it safe or too worried about busting out the dremel i went with a 1.25 inch spacer and 285s. i trimmed what i think is very little and dont rub at all (including offroad) didnt even have to take off the mudflaps

kinda wanna go bigger now tbh.

also someone at toyota (when my truck was being made) had already pushed the fender liner forward a bit re-drilled new holes

Or is it safer to use 265s?

Does anyone know the offset on the factory rim for a 2016 Toyota 4Runner... And the bolt pattern. I basically want to buy a set of Knobby Tires with a wheel set and want them to be exact fitment without spacers or anything!

I want to order an icon stage 2 lift with icon uca. It should get 3 inches of lift up front. Question is I want 285/70/17 trail grapplers, but my wheel set up is 17x8.5. Backspacing 4.30. Offset -10 mm. Will they rub?

This will sound like an unhelpful answer but honestly you'll have to try it to find out...each truck is different. You may have no rubbing, have to remove the mud flaps/do fender liner mod or although very unlikely get a BMC. It really varies that much with each individual vehicle.
