Hey Guys. Long time forum scroller, newer poster.

I drive a 2012 LE with 5100 bilsteins on all 4 corners. The front is set at 1.75 and I have 1" in cornfed spacers in the rear.

I would like to replace the 20" rims with 17" SCS rally 10s mounted with the BFG KO2 tires in 275/70/17.

Do any of you have experience with this specific wheel and tire size combination? If so what kind of fitment issues did you experience? Did the 10mm of backspacing cause issues?

I ran the same setup on SR5 and only had to trim front bumper but YMMV.

[MENTION=66316]1engineer[/MENTION] thanks for putting this together. I had a question about the stock TE wheels 2010-2013. I currently have 17x8 American Racing Mojave wheels with a 4.5 backspacing. I have an Icon lift with total chaos UCA's. with 285/17/17 tires. If I go to the OEM TE wheels that are 17x7.5 with a backspace of 4.875 will the tire rub against any of the lift components?

I jsut bought a 2017 SR5 and want to put on TRD Sema style rims.

I dont have a lift or level and would prefer not to do fender mods. I'd also like to keep the stock OEM tires.

What TRD style rims will fit? (If any).

Those aren't OEMs. SEMA's are 17x7. Those also have different offset and bore compared to the SEMA/TRD PRO wheels which are +4mm and 106mm respectively.

I've read the sizing chart, but i'm still a little concerned about ordering the wrong thing, and am hoping for some help.

I have a 2011 SR5 at stock height, and I want to put TRD pro wheels, with 275/70r17 Falken Wildpeak A/T3W tires on. The fitment guide shows it should fit without issues on stock tires, do the TRD pro wheels change anything? Has anyone else done this? Any help is appriciated

If you're only changing to TRD Pro wheels and going up 1/2" in overall tire diameter, you should be fine without a lift...

So I've got 275/17 70s. Was running 5100s at 2.5 and recently installed Kings at 6 threads. Now, for some reason I'm rubbing at location where BMC would be. I wasn't rubbing before. Can this be fixed with alignment somehow? If I did go up to 285s with a BMC, is it possible I'll still rub? Thanks guys.

You need an alignment any time you mess with your suspension. More caster will move the tire away from the body mount so it should be fine. I ran a 295/70/17 at 1.5" with no body mount chop needed.

I should have specified that I did have an alignment competed. Might have to go back and see if they can increase the caster more so this is not an issue. I appreciate the response.

22.5" center hub to bottom of fender, right about 2.5" over stock. Camburg balljoint UCA.

You should have no problem getting to the 3.5* - 4* mark on caster which is where you want to be for multiple reasons.

275/55/R20 on 2015 4Runner Limited

I finally took the plunge and put some Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my ‘15 Limited. I know the discussion back and forth about the 0.5” rim width issue but I decided to go for it. It looks amazing! I was debating between Wildpeak, Ridge Grappler, KO2, and these Terra Grapplers and I ultimately went with the Terra Grappler for the price and 65k warranty and since I do 85% on road 15% off road I figured these were a perfect match. I forgot to take some before photos of my worn Geolanders but here are some of them installed!

I really want to do 275/70/17 for a small size increase and the fact that it more than likely will fit without issue (I know the chart, but have also seen plenty of folks post still having some rubbing), but hate the fact that there are so few tire options. The choices available all weigh almost 60 pounds each. I like newest falken, but just weighs so much.

I know there are mixed messages about the K02, but I love the fact that the 285/70/17 has a C that weighs only 51 pounds.

My long winded question is this......has anyone had their 285/70/17 bought and installed at Toyota on TRD pro wheels (only 7 inches wide)? The 285's recommend 7.5-9 inch wheels. I know many folks have put those tires on those rims, but IF something were to happen, someone did once post concern that they could come back at you and say that the tires werent rated for the wheels. I feel a little better if toyota installs them.

Probably over thinking it. Wish there were more 275 options.

If I were to stay at a stock height and just move the tires out further by spacers or different wheels would I run into rubbing issues?
Assuming I wasn't going any larger then 275's?
