they are 34.09" as per the specifications on the companies website. :gun6: exactly .75" difference in diameter which is .375" bigger taller on each side

Hmm, wonder why all tire calculators state diameter as 33.8? I must be doing it wrong.

I always thought the 315/70r17 was the 34.4" tire and the 285 on 17's sat just below 34"

The tire calculators are generalized for the most part and use an average size calculation for that size class. Each company has variations of the sizes though. Nitto sits a little bit on the larger end of the spectrum. Still aren't technically "35's"" but neither atre the 35's for that matter haha, theres a slight difference between the two, I wish I went with a 33" tire in retrospect, hey if anyone has a new set of 33"s for a 17" rim feel free to trade me lol.

I had 255/85-16 BFG KM2 on my last runner, averaged 19mpg with 5 speed & 3inch lift. Loved them. Current truck is getting 16 with 265 Duratracks with an auto & 2 inch lift. Will be putting 255 KM2 on it next week, will have to see if mpg picks up any with the taller / lighter tire.

Actually, I just got them on last week. I've only only run one tank of gas through it. Not really enough to make a solid comment, but it looks like about 2 mpg increase. I'll be back driving her every day starting next week, but so far I'm optimistic.

Here mine with KENDA KLEVER MT, those are 265/75/16

(don't pay attention to my valance, I hit more than 10 times the trees when trailing, steel bumper is coming)
