Just had to post how much I'm loving my new exhaust! The new sound is soooooo cool! Getting the old pipes off was a bear because I loaned out my sawsall and had to use my jig saw:bash:. Getting the new one on wasn't difficult at all. Instructions were easy and everything fit up to the truck perfectly. Thanks Burtman!

I really looked at this, I'm just too nervous buying something I haven't heard in person. I don't want anything loud or that drones, but I would like an audible exhaust note. Is there any way you can get a sound/video clip of the sound? Hows the sound in the vehicle (loudness)?

Can you post pictures of different angles of the car with the new exhaust?
 
Ark, I will take a video clip tomorrow and try my best to get a good audio recording. I, too didn't want something very loud, but I think this is the right amount of rumble without being obnoxious. It has a nice low rumble at start up and low/moderate acceleration and gives a nice growl under full load. I took it around today on the road and freeway and loved every minute. You can hear it on the freeway (I had the windows down), but I didn't notice anything I would call "drone.

Edit: Even my wife, who is the most modest and quiet person I know, loves the sound. "Makes it feel like a real truck."

I agree with you ARK, I had the same worries, when i bought this, I never looked back and still dont. Its perfect!!

You can hear it on the freeway, but it is just a little rumble in the background. 30 minutes on the freeway last night and my wife and I had no problem holding a conversation without speaking any louder than before. No drone whatsoever.

I've had this for a little over 2 years. Love it. It sounds fantastic without being overwhelming in the cabin. I dropped it off last weekend to get the brakes worked on. The tech took it out for a test run as I was jogging home. It was the first time I got to hear it as a spectator. it reminded me just how much I like it.
 
I went the inexpensive route and got the aluminized one. I don't plan on laying under the truck looking at my exhaust pipes. I wanted it for the sound and performance.
