Looks good, Sloan! Nice choice. That spare in your trunk kinda limits your cargo space though! Haha but I could see how you might get sick of having it on your rack.

as far as MPG dropping i wouldn't say it was anything really noticeable, but i'm sure it went down a little. and thanks about the duals! its the reason why i had to put the spare in the trunk though lol. they shop wouldnt run the piping around it.
as far as the price it was 560 i believe for rims and install.

dunno i guess i just packed everything right. lol i might try to put my subs on top of my spare but i dunno if that will make the subs hit funny.

i would but i'm not sure if it would look that good w/ no hitch on the back. so getting the towing hitch and black LED tails are the things at the top of my to do list. the carbon fiber altezza crap ain't doin it for me anymore.
anybody think i should paint my break calipers? i'm not sure to do black or possible even red? red would stand out more but i don't wanna get to ricey looking.

I think it will look a lot better when you get new tires. There's just something about those that is messing with the image of your 4runner.

$560's a steal man! good job and yes paint your drums at least, im tellin ya, it makes a huge difference in your rims. i just did mine in the black calliper paint they had at some auto store and it looks pretty cool. Red may look good on your front calipers but IMO it kinda looks ricey unless they're actual Brembo's that would be cool haha.

the tires are firestone destinations which i think is what most of these things came with stock so they are probably the same tires from '01. my parents want let me get tires till i need them so. you guys think i should put the white wall out when i do get some new ones? i'm thinking BFG A/Ts or maybe Nittos if any shops around here carry Nittos. As for going up a size i'm afraid i'm gonna scrub up front. if you look at my pictures i already sit close to 265/70s as it is so i'm not sure about that. if anybody knows more or can tell by my pictures if i will or will not please let me know.

Even though it's my money...but they did buy the tires I have on there now, because they needed to be replaced once I bought it. But at the time I didn't think to ask for any bigger tires because I didn't anticipate doing any mods to my runner

yea my first car i had i really never did anything to it so when i got my runner its where most my money has gone into so i can finally have a nice truck. sometimes i wish though i would have left it as is and just rode a normal factory 4runner around, but then again it is fun to fix it up nice.
don't feel bad about the parents mine also think most stuff i do is a waste of money. i want a lift bad but since i'm in college they want me to wait on it till i get out and the truck is in my name before i mess with anything like that.

If you all have the money to buy new tires, etc. but your parents are preventing you from doing so, then give the money to a close friend and have them order to there house, that's what I always did. I didn't want anything showing up at my house cause who knows, my dad probably would've sent it back... he was 100% against me getting HIDs so I ordered them at a friends house, went over there and installed them... lol

that does suck about yalls parents. I know its hard but its good to save a lil money on the side. especially those who are still at home. i dont regret things i do to my truck, its pretty much where the majority of my $$ goes but i duno if i total it out or it gets stolen, man there goes all that hard earned cash. but on the other hand it feels damn good to walk up to your truck in the parking lot and say to yourself "ya thats mine" lol!
