Yeah that's what my parents are telling me. They just don't want to see anything happen to my runner like have it get totaled or something, and they think having stuff like a nice sound system or a radar detector is just asking for my car to get broken into. And they're right to an extent but I still want to keep doing stuff to my car :p Plus they tried to tell me "well when you sell it you're unlikely to recoup all the money". I just laughed and said "you think I'm ever selling my car?!"
 
oh ya im the same way, i keep telling myself after this mod im gonna stop for a while but i never do haha, something about modding drives me. and if you plan on keepimg it forever then do it! reward yourself every once in a while. driving a nice ride i feel boost confidence and other things as well. ya know the way i see it is get it all done before you cant get it done which totally contradicts what i said earlier. haha i guess what im sayin is buy mods safely which it sounds like your doin pretty good not rackin a bunch of debt up. a lot of these guys you see out on the road with huge lifts and tires with nice rims and all that jazz. i bet not even half paid cash fir everything. i dont know that stuff is not cheap.
 
anybody know why mine sits up so much higher in the rear? i though the back was the part that was supposed to sag? i know its 2wd and all but i know a girl with a 4runner 2wd and here sits level.
