No one? Really?
I say no halos looks to ricey.
.
...I went with FX45 bi-xenon with the work done by Lightwerkz. Super happy with the communication and product.
I`ve actually been reading up on HID Planet lots. Those guys over there really seem to know their stuff. I`ve also been looking through build threads here, Philsey, Harper7 - did you guys need to trim your shrouds to have them sit flush in the reflectors?Great learning resource here:

Thanks for the feedback guys.
Lightwerkz was going to be my top pick, but I think they are victim of their own success. Sent them an email over a month ago asking for a quote and a few questions about what was possible, still haven't received a reply.
...of head lights. I'm planning to do a projector retrofit, but I have yet to pick all the components. I think I have settled on Hella Evo-XR bi-xenon projectors, and I`d like halos, but the rest is completely up in the air.
what have you guys done?
oh, and:worthless:![]()
Although I agree regarding looks, when talking about "projectors" and the like, it's the performance of the lights themselves. The TE lights still use the same media to produce light. It is just the coloration of the bezel that makes them different and as I said and agreed, better looking...but what these folks are doing makes the lights themselves, brighter and thus "safer" (as long as they adjust them) and more utility when driving down an unlit trail at dusk, dawn or night. What they are doing is a good thing. ...be safe.
I got that part. just thinking that if one was going to purchase a pair of OEM headlights why not get a pair of the TE ones...maybe just me. here is a picture of my retro with TE headlights.
Why not a pair of TE headlights? Purchased a set of TE headlights for my BP 4Runner and the black pearl in the TE headlights really make it stand out.
Lightwerkz can do any paint scheme you want when the lights are open - they do it all the time.
