Great business model toytec

There's a charge but not 20 for 60 transaction so don't go there.

I sure hope they give you a discount on your next purchase. Maybe you can link this thread in the order comments :D

Or at the very least they'll likely waive the fee if you decide to cancel.

I bought a Jensen Nav/CD/DVD deck from a pretty well known place here (Quality Auto Sound) in Denver. I had checked the prices online and everywhere for this deck model "a" lets say. My wife was dead set on model "a" so we checked prices on it everywhere. Turns out that all the prices were pretty comparable on model "a" including Quality Auto Sound and they had one in stock when we wanted one.

After talking some with the people there, I decided and they agreed that model "b" would be better, less moving parts, better quality etc. We got so caught up in getting a deck we didnt bother to check any other prices before hand.

Well, we bought it with the Nav antenna and bluetooth dongle. Turns out I get to work and find the whole trio of stuff over 200$ cheaper on Amazon for Model "b".

Well, sure enough I look at the receipt and they have a no return/exchange only policy.

THats my dumb fault for not checking prices first. Thats not their fault. They would never be able to compete if someone bought their deck and then went home and found out you could get it for 200$ cheaper.. EVERY single one of their customers would return their product for the cheaper one everytime.

Fact is. If you were so fast on the trigger you didnt check for cheaper prices elsewhere then sorry, but thats your fault. Not Toytecs.

Toytecs prices are super competitive to the market and they have great customer service and sometimes thats worth a couple extra bucks.

20$ for a return (shipped or not) is pretty standard. It costs money to pull the parts, pack them and then restock them. Then you have the card transactions. I think you should look at the return policy for the companies you went to to "save" a few bucks, Im sure they are similar if not the same.

you mean Ben? he's the only guy that works there

and what for 04rnr is obviously employed by them to get so worked up like he is with all the CAPS he uses in his replies

seriously tho.. i just hope people realize they have this policy as i'm pretty sure $20 cancel fee is not the norm in online retailing

no bashing here.. i gladly took the $40+ hit .. thanked Ben and he thanked me and that's it.. no arguing as i've stated.. i didn't read it so too bad.. but it's still a shaft no matter how you look at it as far as fee vs actual price ratio

Actually Ben isnt the only one who works there, but not sure if the other employees want to be outed...

actually toytec's policy states if it's been pulled and packed they charge 15% to cancel

I guess $20 or 5% is just to pay the computer that took my order

by the way .. it's nice to see all the colorado locals come out to support a local business.. tough economy these days.. i'm sure toytec really appreciates this

keep posting, you`re only making yourself look worse.
So you choose to read the Return policy now, after the fact, lmao

Bottom line, you FAILED and are trying to make yourself look good by making someone else look bad, not working, but keep trying. why dont you just admit you screwed up, appologize for trying to bash a company, that YOU chose to do business with, and move on.

we all need some :girl:

P.S. I wish, I worked there, talk about a killer rig, but sadly, I dont, so my rig is nothing special

Yeah I learned my lesson from ToyTec as well. They are here is CO and rumor has it there best mechanic left them due to conflicts within the company. (Owners being @ssh0les). Bottom line is there are a lot of people to do business with...I will never deal with them again and will be surprised to see them still around in another couple years.

You can only screw people over so many times before you run out of customers :)

If you are referring to me, I did leave but i have absolutely nothing against ToyTec and i am still really good friends with the owners.
