There's a charge but not 20 for 60 transaction so don't go there.
I sure hope they give you a discount on your next purchase. Maybe you can link this thread in the order comments![]()
Or at the very least they'll likely waive the fee if you decide to cancel.
I bought a Jensen Nav/CD/DVD deck from a pretty well known place here (Quality Auto Sound) in Denver. I had checked the prices online and everywhere for this deck model "a" lets say. My wife was dead set on model "a" so we checked prices on it everywhere. Turns out that all the prices were pretty comparable on model "a" including Quality Auto Sound and they had one in stock when we wanted one.
After talking some with the people there, I decided and they agreed that model "b" would be better, less moving parts, better quality etc. We got so caught up in getting a deck we didnt bother to check any other prices before hand.
Well, we bought it with the Nav antenna and bluetooth dongle. Turns out I get to work and find the whole trio of stuff over 200$ cheaper on Amazon for Model "b".
Well, sure enough I look at the receipt and they have a no return/exchange only policy.
THats my dumb fault for not checking prices first. Thats not their fault. They would never be able to compete if someone bought their deck and then went home and found out you could get it for 200$ cheaper.. EVERY single one of their customers would return their product for the cheaper one everytime.
Fact is. If you were so fast on the trigger you didnt check for cheaper prices elsewhere then sorry, but thats your fault. Not Toytecs.
Toytecs prices are super competitive to the market and they have great customer service and sometimes thats worth a couple extra bucks.
20$ for a return (shipped or not) is pretty standard. It costs money to pull the parts, pack them and then restock them. Then you have the card transactions. I think you should look at the return policy for the companies you went to to "save" a few bucks, Im sure they are similar if not the same.
