I just ordered this LED light bar I had been searching for a while and for a cheap LED light bar this is by far the best deal out there.
Its 180w 35" curved and comes with the wiring harness for only $32.40

It should be a nice fit for going between the headlights thats my plan at least but we will see when it arrives.
Don't expect Rigid quality but for the price you cant beat this deal!

Keep in mind:

... Keep an eye out on condensation build up inside the lens...

So plan on silicone sealant. I have used Amazing GOOP Household - Amazing GOOP Adhesives - Products with great results in the past.
Also I have read that the switch that comes on the harness is supposed to be junk and should be changed to avoid battery drain.

I want to use an OEM switch to run this does anyone know if a heated seat switch or a clutch start cancel switch could be wired to run this.
I understand almost nothing about wiring and this is all new to me thanks

Thanks for the tip, I plan to open it when it arrives and apply silicone to try and seal it up, hope that does the trick.

You can run any switch imaginable if you want... For this you want a simple on/off switch or a SPST switch... I'm not sure what the wire harness looks like but post a pic when you get it and we can help as to where to wire everything


And about your other post... When you open it up to silicone make sure you use a quality silicone that's suitable for heat as well ... I don't know what LED's are installed in these light bar or how well the design will cool the light bar itself so just be on the safe side and get something clear that is also functional around a heated source.

So for a little update I got an email this morning saying "my order had been canceled" :flipoff: and the seller saying he did not have the item in stock. I have never ever had this happen on ebay and with such a big seller I was really surprised.
I went back and checked and the item was still listed with 10+ in stock, so I promptly reordered the item. :moon:
I just got a shipping notification and tracking number it should arrive next week! :banana:

That's weird but glad you could order it still. I was looking through their products and they have the same 40" bar listed 3 times with 3 different prices and the only difference is in the names. One says Toyota ford dodge and other models. The other says atv and the other just says truck. The hardware looks identical so I'm not sure what the difference is exactly. If this turns out to be a good product I will keep them in mind when I add more lights later this year.

I will be sure to post up more info on it when it gets here. From searching for some more info I saw some other seller listing the same light bar claiming 18000 lumens and an actual length of 33.9 inches I will be sure to get some good pictures of the output.

You know its worth it for $30. Whats the worse that can happen. It's only $30 lol. I do not have any eBay lights I have xtreme led by miamioffroad and nothing but awesomeness. Military breather, one of the bars has 3d lense, kinda like projectors and it projects the light far.

But I kinda want to try this light on my roof rack. Let us know how it shines for you.

Is there a way to accurately measure lumens? I know shops have a way but for us at home to do. My bar said something crazy like 22820 lumens and it is very bright but I have no idea if it's that bright.

I just went and bought 10 4" led pods to put on the roof for 75.00. Hopefully they turn out great and I can wire them up to the switch pro that I bought from toytec to eliminate all the switches. Thanks for the info man.:frisky:
