The dawn wall. Excellent movie. I liked it better than free solo, which is another awesome movie.

Just watched it. Time well spent for sure. Hours of programming of Super Bowl coverage going on when many people can be viewing programs like this to learn about the real pioneers in this countries history.

Recently watched Aquaman and Polar...Aquaman is quite a nice movie..it is more than i expected from the DC universe..one of the best movies they will make..Polar on the other hand is quite a let down...it does not have a defined story line.

I want to make this "GREAT Movies you just watched in last 7 days" thread great again, so I went to see Alita Battle Angel. Again.
A little background:
It's an adaptation from a 9 volumens manga from 1990. A Japanese cyberpunk series created by Yukito Kishiro. The movie was produced James Cameron and directed by Robert Rodriguez. Pretty good adaptation in my opinion.
Fun fact:
today 3/3/2019, the critic score's 60% on Rotten Tomatoes, just 1% away from being labeled "Rotten", but it currently holds an audience score of 94%.
Fun fact 2:
The production budget was $170 million, the worldwide gross's $289,172,122 at the moment (no counting this weekend).
Some snob critics with delusions of grandeur would not like a movie like Alita Battle Angel, because they can't take a pic of this movie ticket and upload it in instagram as they use to do with the ultra modern/stylish/artistic movies they see, imagine what their circle of social snobs're going to think about them.
