Anyone who read their invoice correctly should have seen the 2 week lead time with the tracking number for shipping and delivery also listed on your invoice.

As of this morning the following people still need to check their spam folder (or regular email) for their invoice and provide payment (first names only for privacy reasons):

There usually is some sort of deal online. I got both my Diehard batteries at Sears and got a good deal on both of them (I have a 35D waiting for my dual battery set up). I contacted my local sears with the online sale price and they matched it.

I purchased my battery today and think I got a pretty good deal so will share the story.

I was at the sears website and saw the $246.49 price. I found a $5 off coupon. I don't have all my notes right now, but recall, "sears14" to get the $5. Then with local tax is was coming out to approximately $260.

The sears website had some "my rewards" points but I couldn't figure out how to redeem them with out a PIN number, and because I wanted to split the charge with a $100 prepaid visa I had, I called customer service.

I got someone new, she had some coupon code, "37085" and and after dinking around with her about core or no core I got a discount of $36.97 for a final price of $224.19 after tax, with a return battery. I figured I would take my chances that I would have to pay a core charge at the store and return a battery later.

The local clerk had zero interest / inclination to look at the paperwork for a core return or not. Just looked up the pre-paid invoice and was good to go with the new battery. They had 3 in stock, two with 2013 manufacture dates and one with a May 2014 date. I selected the May 14 and was on my way.

And if anyone is in doubt, IT IS A BIG HEAVY SON-O-A-GUN...
