Picked mine up on wed. Had the battery sitting around for about a month now! Will be installing tomorrow, and then adjusting the coilovers to compensate likely

Bummed I missed out, away for too long. Probably will still pick one up at full price in the coming months though as the concept and the product look great.

Well I installed the cage and the battery today. Seems pretty solid! I just BARELY got the wires attached. I knew they would be short but I coldn't find an extender bar ANYWHERE locally 
So the wire hookups to the batery are all hella-ugly till I can find some 2 inch extenders for the post clamps :/ Amazon? ANyone know what those things are called? I've seen them in peoples photos but cant even find one on line.
Measured the lean and it didn;t really change noticablly with the extra 30 pounds of battery. So no adjusting of the coilovers just for that needed.
At some point in the near future I'll be attaching a 100 watt solar panel to the floor of the roof rack to charge the battery as well. I have a couple of 150 watts which I use on deep cycle batteries and they work great. 8+ amps of charge current, but they are too big to fit on the rack.so a 100 watt will be about 6 amps of charge current.

Can't help you with what the extenders were called. Are you saying though that you were able to make it work without any modifications to the current cables/clamps? I thought we at least needed to get a battery post shim and fleet terminals, plus crimp the end of the current cables.
Other than reading Okki's build thread, I've not even eye-balled anything on the battery, so I have no idea. But electrical stuff scares the crap out of me, so the less modding I need to do, the better... and if I can make it work with the existing cables, I'll be much happier even if it looks hella-ugly, as you say.

I bought a set of marine battery terminals so no shim required. (Negative clamp smaller than positive clamp) I did have to bend the metal tabs on the ground and the two plus cables to get them to reach. With a pair of 2 inch extenders that woulnt have been necessary.
I wasn't going to post pictures till I had this more neatly done. But since several people may be dealing with this this weekend. This does work fine for long term, I just don't like that it's a little weird looking. These pics are for a 5th gen, of course other gens may be completely different :/
Negative terminal. Not too bad, but I did have to bend up the 90 degree angle in the tab to get it to clear the battery and the edge of the battery cage. Unfortunately it does cover the secondary negative terminal.
Positive terminal(s). Not clean. The starter cable would reach the clamp but the accessory cable would not, had to put that on the other terminal. I want to save the two secondary terminals for my additional accessories and use the main terminals just for the stock power (Well and a winch some day). No real reason, just neatness sake, and being able to unhook my accessories without removing power from the car electronics and resetting everything.

OK, mine looks like ass, but all I care about is that it functions safely. I had to bend the negative connector, and connected to a marine battery terminal. For some reason, the positive marine battery terminal post was too thick for the starter and accessory power lines. I had to bend both positive cables, included the little tabs on the accessory line. I ended up making the oem terminal work. Is there any danger in using the OEM terminal as opposed to the marine terminal (which admittedly is more heavy duty)?
Here are some pictures...

Nope, you'll be fine. The stock terminal is sized appropriately for all the factory loads that should be coming through that point. If you start adding more high amperage accessories like an air compressor or winch you could consider swapping the terminal for something heavier.

I installed this evening and Just logged on to ask about the super tight positive cable coming from the fuse box. Looks like y'all have the same issue. I got it installed but do not want it so tight long term.
