Happy with my Falken Wildpeaks

This past weekend I got to try out my new treads, Falken Wildpeak A/T. I drove about 1500 miles and did a little 4wheeling in Colorado. It was also the first trip with my new suspension, Tundra TRD coils and hd shocks in front with OME 906s and OME n86 in back.

Everything performed just like I hoped it would. The tires rode smooth and quiet on the hiway and aired down to 20 PSI worked great on the trails. The suspension also was exactly what I was hoping for. Since it is my daily driver I didn't want too much lift, and stayed with stock size P tires. We ran Imogene Pass and Engineer Pass and a few other dirt roads with no problems. I let my brother (who is a Jeep guy) drive Engineer Pass and he was impressed with how easily the 4runner handled it and how nice it rode. I wasn't surprised.

By the way, the San Juans appear to be Jeep country, I only saw a few other 4runners the whole time.

I had those on my 3rd gen before I sold it. Damn good tires.

Running them on mine with no complaints either ... curious to get them in some real snow this season though.

I also put a set of falkens on our Camry (2007) and they've done great thus far. We live in a newer neighborhood and theres tons of construction going on, and my neighbor was *****ing that he's always getting flats from the construction guys leaving nails and staples in the road. We've been good!!

Glad to hear you like them. Ordered the Rocky Mountains (same tire) last week. My dad has them and loves them, which is one of the reasons I got them.

Rocky Mountain is the same tire, they call them different names for different regions. I was told this buy a rep. Don't know why? Killer tires though, I had a set on my last wheels and they'll probably be my next ones.

I haven't had them through any snow yet. My dad did with his Jeep and didn't have any complaints. From what I've read they'regood in everything except thick clay...which is fine by me cause I avoid that stuff like the plague.

we were in Moab, Telluride, Ouray, Silverton and Durango with our 4Runner a month ago, and you're right, it is predominantly Jeep country
