Also, I just bought 265/70R16 new tires all around so I can't use the FJ 17s I really like on CL or other 17s
Is this rim below compatible so I don't have to grind ?

Rims
Anyone know which rims fit with these calipers? I purchased and completed the build only to find that I needed to grind down both the rims and calipers (don't do big projects on a work night). Technically since I've already done the deed (grinding) I'm guessing most rims would fit, but If there's a list floating around I'd be interested.

Reviews of Callahan seem to be good, the brand is owned by Powerstop apparently. I needed new brakes regardless, so I mostly just wanted the calipers since the pads and rotors can be replaced cheaply. I should be able to give first hand experience in a week or two.

I actually came here to ask about this kit after seeing it yesterday.

I bought this kit too earlier this year. One caliper had a pinhole leak in the body of the caliper and I couldn't wait and had to get autozone calipers. The finish on these calipers is really nice though. I kept the rotors and pads and they are all working great.
Only thing I would investigate is getting some pads that don't have the chamfer on them so you can get more surface area of contact.
Powerstop upgrade with pro comp 7069
In the process of doing the upgrade with the powerstop extreme truck and tow kit. Down sizing tire size from previous owner who had 17s back to 265/70r16. Went with stock tire size as I previously had fitment issues and did not want to go through that again. Giving the pro comp at sports tires a try on 7069 rims. Wheels and tires look good, will post when completed tomorrow.

Everything went smoothly except for a problem bleeding the brakes. After 2 bleeds, realized I had the calipers installed upside down. Should have known when the brake lines wouldn't reach. Once those were fixed everything went pretty well, speed bleeders did help. Wheel weights came very close to hitting calipers, would try to mount those on the far inside vs the inside flat part if possible. Bedding brake process went well, with the blue film showing. Final product below.

Well, sounds like you learned a valuable lesson. When you mount them, make sure the bleeder screw is on top. Air travels to the highest point.
Did the job on mine today. Wasn't unreasonable, most annoying part being installing the braided steel brake lines, especially the rear. PB Blaster, some heat, and a legitimate flare wrench were my friend thanks to this damn thing spending some point of its life in a rust belt. Also, I should have bought a power bleeder years ago. Once I had everything bolted up and tightened, the actual bleeding took 15 minutes.

I had paid $320 for the same kit a few months back; $275 is a GREAT price! It's been 4K miles so far and they are holding up great...

So far so good. Did an abbreviated bedding before heading to work today and they're working well. Didn't notice any leaks or anything after first drive. It's certainly not a rip your face off difference, but the pedal is firm and pressing them hard enough will lock them up. My old brakes weren't warped or anything, but they were a lot rustier than I thought and now I don't have to hear the squeal tabs any more.
