Cool hatchie, but 330ft/lbs of torque to the wheels? Out of an FSDE engine?? Got a dyno print out? :shrug: That's more than my twin-turbo 350hp RX-7 pushes, and I've sunken paycheck after paycheck into that thing.

Negative, F2T engine. I need to dyno it again. I never printed out my results and some idiot reinstalled the dyno software and cleared everything. (took me a whole day to calibrate it). I have a print out from the stock turbo pumped up to 12 psi. 176whp 241wtq. I have a t3/t4 hybrid at 16psi now. huge difference. can't remember the trim now.

Rotaries fail in the torque department. they just do. horsepower on the other hand...

Oh, I'm chomping at the bit to get a RWD sports car. I nearly bought an MX-5 on two different occasions (07 when I bought my GTI instead and 10 after I sold the hunk of junk GTI). I was ready to pull the trigger on an S2000 as well when my wife talked me out of it because she knew I really wanted the FR-S as I've been showing her pics of it since the very first concept. So, hopefully she'll play ball and let me get my toy.

The MINI is a great little car, though. All sorts of character, always makes me smile when I drive it.

Ha! I had just rebuilt the rear brakes before taking that picture. Unfortunately, I snapped the adjusting rod for the hand brake while putting everything back together. The 4x4 was a backup to leaving it in gear until fixed.
