Heated Seats

Has anyone switched from non-heated seats to OEM heated seats? Is the truck prewired for them? I'm thinking about doing a junkyard search to see if I can find the parts to do it with if it is all prewired. I have a 2003 Sport

Never done it but I have heard of it being done. I don't think the truck is prewired for it but i'm not 100%, maybe someone else can chime in on that. If you buy the leather seats with the heaters already in them, it might be expensive because those seats have airbags but you could find a good deal at the wreckers. Another option is to buy an aftermarket seat heater and install it under the exsisting seat covers so it looks factory. Then all you have to do is hook it to a power supply thru a switch and bam...heated butt!
